The International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) on August 12, 2026, issued a notification regarding a consultation paper on proposed amendments to the IFSCA Banking Handbook on General Directions.
The following has been stated: -
•IFSCA has invited public and stakeholder comments on proposed amendments to the IFSCA Banking Handbook – General Directions, particularly regarding Governing Body meetings and Approved Individual requirements for International Banking Units (IBUs).
•The amendments aim to provide detailed specifications for compliance based on supervisory assessments.
•Stakeholders may submit comments/suggestions in the prescribed format by September 01, 2026, through email to the designated IFSCA officials.
